Testimonials

“Having Dana speak to our participants felt like a family member was talking to them. He approaches reentry with not only authenticity, but with the understanding that everyone has a different journey. Our R.I.S.E. Court participants enjoyed hearing from someone who had gone through similar situations and came out on the other side a more openminded and giving man. He never fails to inspire and provides hope where it was once maybe lost. He’s welcome to come speak to our participants any time!”

“Mr. Brock was our keynote speaker for our annual staff retreat for our division at Columbus Public Health, and he was phenomenal. Our theme for the retreat was mindfulness and rest, a much-needed focus given the nature of our work. The work we do daily can be difficult, and it’s important that we don’t hyperfocus on it to the point of burnout. Mr. Brock delivered a powerful, relatable, and engaging speech that truly resonated with our team. His words were not only inspiring and thought-provoking, but also personal and deeply impactful. He created a space that felt genuine, uplifting, and encouraging, reminding us to prioritize our well-being while continuing to serve our community.”

Dana Brock, a remarkable individual who has shown tremendous strength and resilience. As a counselor at the drug and alcohol program where he was a participant, I had the privilege of witnessing his journey firsthand. Throughout his time in the program, Dana seized every opportunity to better himself. His dedication to overcoming addiction and his commitment to personal growth were truly inspiring. He worked tirelessly, participating in counseling sessions, group therapy, and various activities that were offered. His perseverance and positive attitude were evident to everyone around him. Not only did Dana make significant strides in his recovery, but he also demonstrated a deep desire to give back to the community. It is with great pride that I share that he is now opening his own non-profit organization, dedicated to helping other young men who are struggling with similar challenges. This initiative is a testament to his compassionate nature and his determination to make a difference in the lives of others. Recently, Dana visited the House of Hope for Recovery, where he shared his journey with a group of young men currently receiving services there. His story of recovery and transformation was incredibly powerful and left a lasting impact on everyone in the room. His willingness to be vulnerable and honest about his experiences is a true reflection of his character and his commitment to helping otherIn conclusion, I find Dana to be a shining example of what is possible when one embraces the opportunities for change and growth. His journey from addiction to recovery, and now to leadership, is truly inspirational. I have no doubt that his non-profit organization will positively impact countless lives and bring hope to those who need it most. Grace and Peace.
