Founded by Restored Citizen Dana Brock, the Lives Worth Saving Foundation (LWSF) is a transformative organization committed to empowering individuals involved in the justice system. LWSF hosts the Roadmap to Change Program and the Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative to provide holistic support to both adults and youth. Our mission is to disrupt cycles of recidivism and youth violence through tailored, impactful programs.

How we set people up to succeed
Build Healthy Communities
Through initiatives like Leaders of Tomorrow and Men of Courage, the Foundation fosters community healing by addressing youth violence, domestic abuse, and recidivism. Group sessions, mentorship, and community service projects create safe spaces for individuals to grow, rebuild relationships, and positively engage with their neighborhoods.
Mental Health Awarness
Mental health is a central theme across all programs. Roadmap to Change offers trauma-informed care, counseling, and peer support groups, while Men of Courage guides participants through emotional regulation and self-awareness practices. These resources promote emotional well-being and resilience as individuals navigate personal transformation.
Employment Readiness
Roadmap to Change and Leaders of Tomorrow place strong emphasis on employment readiness through soft skills training, job placement assistance, and career exploration. These tools help both adults and youth build confidence, set goals, and gain access to livable wage employment.
Housing
The Foundation recognizes stable housing as critical to long-term success. While direct housing placement isn't offered, LWSF supports reentry efforts that include connection to wraparound services like housing assistance through community partners and family reunification support.
Technology
In partnership with Freedom Pipeline, Technology is integrated into program delivery and career readiness. Participants in Roadmap to Change receive workplace readiness and career navigation training, which includes the digital literacy needed to search for jobs, complete applications, and prepare for employment in today’s tech-driven job market.
